Pre-monsoon rains are lashing many parts of the country, including some parts of North India, which has brought relief to the people. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department told that the monsoon has reached Jharkhand. There is a possibility of rain in Bihar from Tuesday. Within the next two-three days, the monsoon can knock in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Talking about the Southwest Monsoon, at present it is seen stuck in the southern states of Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, while June 20 is the date of its entry into Varanasi in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Monsoon has arrived in Jharkhand. The first rains of the southwest monsoon started in Santal Pargana from Sunday evening. Its effect is visible almost in the whole of Jharkhand. Pre-monsoon rains have also started in other districts except Santal Parganas. It is also raining with strong wind. This has given relief to the people from the scorching heat. For the next few days, except Palamu, the situation in other districts will also remain the same.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in South Bihar including Bihar’s capital Patna on 21, 22 and 23 June. The Meteorological Department told that in one to two days, there will be an expected change in the weather of Bihar in terms of rain. If the monsoon covers eastern Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, then the chances of monsoon reaching Delhi on time will increase.
Monsoon will start expanding from June 20. Light to moderate rains will occur in all parts of Jharkhand from June 21 to 23. Heavy rains may occur in Kolhan and the eastern capital on 21st. On June 22, there may be heavy rains in the southern areas of the state. During this, thunder and lightning may also occur. The wind speed will be 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
