The estimated turnover in furniture is Rs 65 crore, in jewelery it is about Rs 60 crore and in electronics items it is Rs 45 crore. This Dhanteras and Diwali, easy finance facilities including many offers, cash back, discounts, lucky draws and assured gifts are being provided to the customers. There was more interest from customers in the showroom of branded jewelery and advance booking of jewelery was done rapidly. Attractive discounts are also being given on making charges in jewelery showrooms. This Dhanteras, the business of crackers including mobiles, utensils, electrical, decorative lights is estimated to be around Rs 50 crore.
Auspicious time for Dhanteras shopping will start from 12 noon today
Pandit Sanjay Mishra of Baba Nagari told that according to the Panchang, the auspicious time for shopping is from 12 noon to 9 pm on the day of Dhanteras and from 11 pm to 11 pm the next day.
