Bhabhua. Shahabad Range DIG Naveen Chandra Jha has filed a suspension order against Mohania SDPO Faiz Ahmed Khan for harassing a female sub-inspector working under him by having obscene chats, constantly harassing her, continuously sending obscene messages on her mobile, and suspending her. The police headquarters has recommended action and transfer from Mohania. 15 days ago, the DIG has sent a report to the police headquarters for action against Mohania SDPO Faiz Ahmed Khan, on which a decision is to be taken by the police headquarters.
what is the matter
In fact, a woman sub-inspector working under Mohania’s SDPO Faiz Ahmed Khan had accused him of continuously sending obscene messages on her mobile. Also, they continuously try to harass him by luring him to make him a police station. If you don’t listen to him, he continuously harasses you. The woman sub-inspector complained about this to Kaimur SP Lalit Mohan Sharma. On the said complaint, the said complaint was investigated by the Internal Complaint Committee, a committee formed by SP Lalit Mohan Sharma to prevent sexual harassment at the workplace.
Evidence found of continuously sending obscene messages on mobile
The complaint lodged against SDPO Mohania was investigated by Internal Monitoring Committee Chairperson Poonam Kumari, Police Station Officer of Mahila Police Station, Senior Deputy Collector Savita Kumari, Sub Inspector Shraddha Suman, Sub Inspector Shubhangi, Constable Sandhya Kumari and Professor Seema Patel of SVP College. During investigation, it was found that Mohania SDPO Faiz Ahmed Khan used to continuously send obscene messages on mobile to the said female sub-inspector. Even after the transfer of the female sub-inspector from the area of Mohania SDPO, he kept following the female sub-inspector and kept forcing her to agree, including sending obscene messages on her mobile.
Didn’t stop harassing me even after transfer
It is further said in the allegation that even after being transferred from his work area, when Mohania SDPO did not stop harassing the said lady Sub Inspector and kept following her, then the said lady Sub Inspector went to Aziz and complained about it to the SP. To avoid being caught in the said case, Mohania SDPO Faiz Ahmed Khan used to delete WhatsApp calls and messages to the said female sub-inspector. The Internal Family Committee had submitted its report recommending action after being found guilty in the said case.
The investigation team had submitted the report in a closed envelope.
SP Lalit Mohan Sharma told that a complaint was made by a woman sub-inspector against Mohania SDPO Faiz Ahmed Khan, which was investigated by the internal complaint committee constituted in the department. The report of the investigation by the Internal Complaints Committee was handed over to me in a closed envelope, which was sent by me to DIG Shahabad Range for further action.
What does DIG say?
DIG Naveen Chandra Jha said that in the investigation, the complaint lodged by a female sub-inspector against Mohania SDPO Faiz Ahmed Khan, including sending obscene messages, has been found to be true. After this, departmental action was taken against him and recommendation of suspension and transfer was made to the police headquarters.
