Jaipur : Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday started a political war against tribals and forest dwellers from Vallabhnagar Assembly in Udaipur, Rajasthan. In a public meeting organized here, he raised the issue of the meaning of tribal and forest dweller in front of the gathering. They are constantly raising this issue and telling people how small BJP’s thinking is regarding tribals. He raised the issue of caste census in this public meeting and called it the ‘X-ray’ of the country. He said that if Congress comes to power in Rajasthan, it will conduct caste census in the state and if the party forms the government at the Centre, it will do the same at the national level. Along with this, he targeted Prime Minister Modi and said that Modi ji diverts attention and Adani picks your pockets.

Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, while addressing the election rally in Vallabhnagar, Udaipur, said that if it is not known whose population is what, then how will we talk about participation. He said that if we are talking about rights and participation, then we will have to find out how many people belong to which caste and society. We call this caste census. Caste census is the X-ray of the country. It is necessary to get this done.

Congress will protect the rights of tribals

Rahul Gandhi also said that the Congress party will protect the rights of the tribals. He said that as long as the Congress party is there, we will protect the rights of the tribals. Standing with you, we will provide education to your children, provide you free health care and we will get you your rights on water, land and forests.
