DCP Crime Vijay Pratap told about the murder of model Divya Pahuja, on the evening of January 2, the police received information about the dead body of a woman in a hotel near the bus stand. After watching the CCTV footage, we found that three people were taking the body out of the hotel in a BMW car. Hotel owner Abhijeet and his two employees have been arrested in this case.

Former model Divya was an accused in the case of death of a gangster in an alleged fake police encounter in Mumbai. He got bail only a few months ago. Bombay High Court had granted bail to Pahuja in June last year.

Pahuja was arrested about seven years ago in connection with the murder of gangster Sandeep Gadoli in a hotel in Mumbai on February 7, 2016. Mumbai Police had arrested Pahuja, his mother and five policemen. These policemen had allegedly killed the gangster. According to Mumbai Police, Gadoli was framed with the help of his ‘girlfriend’ Pahuja and he was killed in a fake encounter.
