With this, India has become the third largest smartphone exporter to America. China is at first place and Vietnam is at second place. The share of China and Vietnam in smartphone exports to America has declined during the first nine months of the current financial year.
Smartphone exports to America declined to $45.1 billion in April-December 2023
Smartphone exports to the US from the top 5 suppliers declined to $45.1 billion in April-December 2023, from $49.1 billion in April-December 2022. China exported smartphones worth $35.1 billion to the US in the reporting period, compared to $38.26 billion in the same period last year. Similarly, Vietnam’s exports to America have declined to $5.47 billion.
