Jamshedpur: The meeting of the committee formed to provide JUSCO electricity connection to the residents of Tata Lease area and other settlements was held under the chairmanship of Shravan Kumar, General Manager, Electricity, at Bistupur’s office on Monday. Jamshedpur East Assembly Constituency MLA Saryu Rai specially participated in this meeting. In the meeting, the officials told that the work for Jusco electricity will start soon in Moharda, Murakati area. All the required material (CTSS) for the sub station at Moharda Odia School Ground has been procured by JUSCO. Additional commissioner for sub-station site only and is in the process of getting no-objection certificate from road construction department for laying cables in the road. During the meeting itself, MLA Mr. Rai spoke to the concerned officials over the phone to issue the No Objection Certificate soon.
Complete the construction work of electricity substation soon
Jusco officials told MLA Saryu Rai in the meeting that the construction work for Chhayanagar-Chandinagar, Nirmalnagar sub-station has started. MLA Mr. Rai directed the officials to complete the construction work of that sub-station soon. To increase the power capacity in Bagunnagar area from 2 KVA to 10 KVA, construction of a new sub-station has been completed in Bagunnagar on the initiative of MLA Mr. Rai. Power has also been charged. Forms are being distributed to provide electricity connections to the residents of the area. Till now 200 people have also submitted the form, to whom LT network is being developed by JUSCO to provide electricity soon. MLA Mr. Rai talked about giving electricity to ‘D’ block of Bagunnagar.
MLA proposed to give JUSCO electricity
MLA Mr. Rai proposed to JUSCO officials to provide JUSCO electricity in Birsanagar area and also assured all possible help for this. Jusco officials talked about conducting a survey of the possibility of Jusco electricity in Birsanagar area soon. Survey work is going on to provide JUSCO electricity to Baridih Basti, Shaktinagar, Shantinagar, Bagunhatu, Laxminagar, Premnagar, Ramadhin Bagan, Gayatrinagar. The substation site for Jusco electricity in Baridih township is also being surveyed.
MLA Saryu Rai asked for information
MLA Mr. Rai sought information about the progress of providing separate electricity to each house in Cable Town and Cable Basti of Golmuri. On this, Jusco officials said that correspondence was made to the resolution professional of INCAB to provide separate electricity in Cable Town, DS Flat area. NOC has not been received yet as the matter is in NCLT. On which MLA Mr. Rai asked INCAB to hold talks again for reconsideration, otherwise he asked to get no objection certificate through the court.
Relief from the trouble of getting dark due to power cut
With the efforts of MLA Shri Rai, the work of power supply from JUSCO has been completed in 20 high mast lights of East Jamshedpur assembly. Now people have got freedom from the trouble of darkness due to power cut of JBVNL. In the meeting, Mr. Rai clearly said that whoever applies for JUSCO’s electricity in the area should be given electricity. Basic facilities like electricity and water should be restored on priority basis. For some time, JUSCO is being asked to submit JNAC’s occupancy certificate to the consumers to get electricity connection from JUSCO. Taking cognizance of this, MLA Shri Rai told the officials of JUSCO to take appropriate steps in the interest of the consumers. Along with this, talking to Jamshedpur axis, talked about finding a suitable solution for it.
The issue of arbitrariness in giving electricity connection was raised in the House
Let us tell you that Jamshedpur East’s MLA Saryu Rai raised the matter of arbitrariness in giving electricity connections to the citizens of the lease area by JUSCO in the assembly. After this, a committee was formed under the chairmanship of Jamshedpur’s Electricity General Manager to provide electricity supply to all the citizens of Jusco area, so that after examining it, electricity supply could be provided to all the residents of the lease area. Executive Engineer of Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited, representative of JUSCO, representative of Jamshedpur Axis, private secretary of MLA Saryu Rai Sudhir Singh and other officials were present in the meeting.
