Lucknow: CM Yogi Adityanath on Thursday gave appointment letters to 700 newly appointed officers under Mission Employment. In a program organized at Lok Bhavan, he said that six years ago there was a crisis of identity in front of the youth of Uttar Pradesh. The youth were ashamed to call themselves from Uttar Pradesh. Things have changed in our government. Today’s youth proudly calls himself a citizen of Uttar Pradesh.
CM Yogi said that UP is moving fast with the process of development. Better work is being done in the field of infrastructure. Poor welfare schemes have been implemented effectively in the entire state. We are living up to the expectations that the people of Uttar Pradesh had from the government. This became possible when the government, administration and every employee made a joint effort.
The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh was not backward just like that. Dishonest and corrupt people were made to sit as samples at various places, who were engaged in making the whole of Uttar Pradesh hollow. We have to be ready to strike a big blow on corruption. Casteism, corruption and discrimination are the biggest obstacles to development.
He said that in the last six years, five and a half crore people in Uttar Pradesh have come out of the poverty line and are leading a normal life. The figures of NITI Aayog are witness to the fact that Uttar Pradesh is moving towards becoming the second largest economy of the country after coming out of the category of Bimaru state. Per capita income has doubled in Uttar Pradesh. UP has moved towards becoming a one trillion dollar economy. This has been possible through a collective effort.
CM Yogi said that after the Ayurveda scam, posts were lying pending in the AYUSH department for years. The whole process was disrupted. Today 422 Ayush Medical Officers are being appointed here. We are grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he has given a new identity to AYUSH. Now it is your responsibility to speed up the work of the AYUSH Department by giving impetus to the Health and Wellness Center.
He told the newly appointed officers that the period of your service is 30-35 years. During this, the more sensitive you are and work honestly, the more self-satisfaction you will get. CM Yogi said that we have to do our work keeping in mind the people of 25 crores. We have to live up to their expectations. If you do good work for Uttar Pradesh, then Uttar Pradesh will also give you recognition and an opportunity to move forward.

Appointment letters were distributed to 15 Managers/Special Executives in Khadi and Village Industries Board, 5 Management Officers/Administrators in Inspector, State Property Department.
Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, Urban Development and Energy Minister AK Sharma, Khadi and Village Industries Minister Rakesh Sachan, Minister of State for Revenue Anoop Pradhan Balmiki, Minister of State Independent Charge of AYUSH Department Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu were present in the programme.
