Mission Indradhanush will start on this day for vaccination of children and pregnant women in Bihar, awareness rally organized

An awareness rally was taken out in Jehanabad on Saturday to make the intensive Indradhanush vaccination program to be run in Bihar from September 11 a success. This awareness rally was taken out from the Sadar Hospital building, passing through the main road and ending at the Sadar Hospital. Incharge Civil Surgeon Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh, DIO Dr. Pramod Kumar, Rudra Kumar of UNICEF and Principal of Rules Mahesh Heromat jointly flagged off the awareness rally. Other officials and personnel of the health department were present on this occasion. GNM students were involved in the rally, who were holding posters and banners in their hands and motivating people to vaccinate their children. In the rally, GNM girl students also raised slogans related to vaccination. They were raising many slogans including vaccination, we have to protect our children from 12 diseases.

Indradhanush intensive vaccination campaign will be run in the district from September 11. This campaign will run till 16 September. This is the first phase of the campaign under the Intensive Rainbow Vaccination Five Programme. Children who have not been vaccinated due to Covid or any other reason, are deprived of vaccination or have missed any dose of vaccination, such children will be identified and given the full course of vaccination, so that the missed children can be vaccinated again. Can be included in the program. For this, the government has launched an intensive Indradhanush vaccination program. Along with this, those pregnant women who have not been vaccinated due to some reason will also be vaccinated.

4065 such children and 1031 pregnant women have been identified in the district. These people are to be given vaccines from September 11. Regular vaccination in the district will continue as before. This program is being run only for children and pregnant women who are deprived of vaccination.
