MG Hector Price Hike in India: Luxury car manufacturing company MG Motor India has decided to increase the prices of its new SUV Hector. The company has announced that the prices of Hector SUV will increase by Rs 40,000. With the increase in price, the ex-showroom price of MG Hector will now be Rs 15 lakh in India. The biggest thing is that the car manufacturer had reduced the price of Hector in the month of September this year itself, which has been increased again.

MG Hector variants

Along with this, the company has also announced that it will continue to sell six variants of this model in India. These include Style, Shine, Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro. It will be offered with petrol or diesel engines with manual or CVT gearbox. The petrol engine of the MG Hector is a 1.5-litre unit, making 141 bhp power with manual or CVT gearbox.

MG Hector price and color

After the price hike by MG Motor India, the base model of Hector will be priced at Rs 15 lakh, ex-showroom India. Apart from this, the price of its top model will reach Rs 22 lakh. At the same time, if we talk about the color options available in it, then it is available in one dual-tone and six monotone colors, which include Dual-Tone White and Black, Havana Grey, Candy White, Glaze Red, Aurora Silver, Starry Black and Including Dunn Brown. This is a five seater SUV car, in which at least five people can sit and travel comfortably.

MG Hector Engine and Transmission

The MG Hector comes with the same 1.5-litre turbo petrol (143 PS/250 Nm) and 2-litre diesel engine (170 PS/350 Nm). A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard with both engines. At the same time, 8-speed CVT gearbox is provided as an option with petrol engine.

The five-seater MG Hector SUV car has features like a new 14-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, 7-inch digital driver display, ventilated front seat, panoramic sunroof and multi-color ambient lighting.
