Mehar Alam, accused of bomb blast in PM Narendra Modi’s Patna rally, was on the run from NIA

Bihar Police’s STF arrested Mehre Alam, who was accused in the serial bomb blast at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hunkar rally in 2013 at Gandhi Maidan in Bihar’s capital Patna. Mehre Alam was arrested from Darbhanga. Please tell that Mehre Alam was arrested earlier also but he escaped by dodging the NIA. The police had been searching for him for a long time. He was arrested late on Saturday night.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hunkar Rally was organized at Gandhi Maidan in Patna in the year 2013. Suddenly there were many blasts one after the other in this rally. Half a dozen people were killed in the bomb blast while more than 80 people were injured. It is being told that after its investigation, the crackdown intensified. Mehre Alam was also taken into custody by NIA but he escaped from NIA custody.

According to media reports, in 2013 itself, Meher Alam was taken by the NIA with them and after questioning, a raid was conducted at Mirpur in Muzaffarpur on her trail. The investigating agency returned from there with Mehr-e-Alam and stayed in a lodge from where she had escaped by dodging. A case was also registered in the city police station.

Mehar-e-Alam, son of Mahmood Alam, a resident of Samastipur, has now been arrested from Darbhanga. He will now be handed over to the NIA.
