Meerut: Four Bangladeshi nationals arrested with fake documents, sent to jail

Meerut: Four Bangladeshi nationals were arrested in Meerut, UP. ATS has arrested four Bangladeshi nationals posing as Indian citizens on the basis of fake documents. Four fake Aadhaar cards, five ATMs, two PAN cards, two bank passbooks, four check books, one Covid-19 vaccination certificate have been recovered from the arrested accused.

Bangladeshi caught in Meerut

The whole matter is of Kharkhauda police station. Where a case was registered against the four Bangladeshi nationals caught by the police under the Foreigners Act including conspiracy, cheating, falsification of documents. The police presented everyone in the court. After which all were sent to jail. SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan told that information was received from the informer about the presence of suspicious persons in Kharkhoda police station area. After which the raid was done.

Police is investigating

The SSP told that on the basis of the information, the ATS arrested all the Bangladeshi citizens. The accused used to work in a shoe factory located in village Dhirkheda of Kharkhoda police station. At present, the police is questioning everyone.

16 foreign nationals including three women arrested in Greater Noida

Let us tell you that recently 16 foreign nationals including three women were arrested by the UP Police in Greater Noida. All these arrested citizens were of South African origin. According to the police, these people were living illegally in India even after the expiry of the visa period and some people have not even got visa passports. All these citizens were living illegally in the Casa Grand Society. After the arrest, 16 people including three women of African origin were sent to the Detention Center.

According to Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, passport and visa of foreign nationals living in Noida’s Casa Grand Tower were checked. All of them could not show valid passports. Within 15 days, the police had busted the drugs factory twice. 12 foreign nationals were caught both times with drugs worth 450 crores. That’s why it was decided to run the verification campaign of foreign nationals. Legal action is being taken against the foreign nationals caught in the joint checking operation of Beta-2 Police and LIU.
