In Meerut, UP, on Wednesday night, bike-riding miscreants looted the mobile phone of a woman who was talking on mobile outside her house. When the woman raised an alarm, the people nearby chased the bike-riding miscreants, but they escaped. The police reached the information and registered a complaint against unknown robbers and started the search.
Actually, lovely wife Arpit Rastogi, resident of Shastri Nagar Sector 9 of Nauchandi police station area, was standing in front of her house and talking on the phone. Meanwhile, two bike riders reached the woman, looted her mobile and started running away. Lovely made noise while chasing the bike riding miscreants. Hearing the noise, people nearby tried to surround the bike-riding miscreants but they dodged and ran away. On receiving information about the incident, Nauchandi police reached the spot and after taking information about the accused miscreants from the victim woman, they checked in search of the accused.

Where on getting information about miscreants robbing a woman’s mobile phone, nearby people gathered and accused the police of merely doing it as a formality. Arpit Rastogi, husband of the victim woman, alleges that the police left the spot after completing the food. Whereas CCTV cameras are also installed nearby. The police did not consider it appropriate to even see the miscreants on CCTV cameras.

Ruckus among family members outside IG office, sister said – my brother is innocent
Women of Khandravali village of Meerut created a ruckus and demonstrated outside the IG office. The women allege that the soldiers themselves reached their house and kept the pistol in the bike. After this she caught his brother and took him away. The sister said, my brother is innocent. CCTV footage of the constable keeping some items in the bike has also surfaced. The women allege that the constable himself kept the pistol and then forcibly took their brother away to trap them. IG Nachiketa Jha himself is investigating the entire matter.
The sister of the victim youth told the story
The youth’s sister Rakhi Tyagi, who reached the IG office, told that there was a family dispute going on in their village. Alleged that the police had colluded with the other party to trap them. First the constables themselves came to the house and caught the young man and kept the pistol in the bike. The police have been accused of wrongly detaining and implicating the youth. The IG has ordered the SSP to conduct an immediate investigation and submit a report.
My family is being forcibly implicated- Sister
The youth’s sister Rakhi told that my father Ashok Tyagi, resident of Khandravali village, is having a dispute with other people regarding land. This matter is pending in the court. The police, in collusion with the other party, is harassing my family. He further told that Kharkhoda police reached our house on Tuesday night. A policeman kept something in his bike bag and then took my brother Ankit into custody. After this the policemen took out something from the bike bag and took Ankit along. Since then he has been kept in custody. This entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in his house.
Family members reached IG’s place at night
The family members reached the IG’s place late at night. But could not meet him. He met the IG on Wednesday morning. Also showed them CCTV footage. IG Nachiketa Jha says that no complaint was received at night, today on Wednesday morning some women came with complaint. On the basis of his complaint, the entire matter is being seriously investigated by a senior rank officer. Action will be taken on the basis of investigation. In the whole matter, SP Dehat Kamlesh Bahadur Singh says that a complaint has been received, CCTV has also been found. Two constables of Kharkhoda police station are seen in CCTV, investigating the entire matter.
