Medical college will open in Mahatma Gandhi Central University campus, Maithili-Bhojpuri will be taught from this session.

Sachchidanand Satyarthi, Motihari. Satellite campus of Mahatma Gandhi Central University will soon open in Bettiah and Sheohar also. Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Srivastava announced this in the first convocation ceremony held at Mahatma Gandhi Auditorium on Thursday. He also informed that the university has also taken the initiative to open a medical college. The university has been continuously moving forward since its inception. At present, 351 researchers are doing research on various subjects related to historical and cultural heritage. The university is also doing important work from the point of view of culture and diplomacy.

Satellite campus of the university will be opened

During his address at the convocation, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Srivastava said that in the growing progress of the university, Shivhar and Bettiah districts will be connected, where the satellite campus of the Central University will be opened. A medical college will also open in the campus. Under the National Education Policy of the government, studies have been started in the university. According to the things that emerged in the program, Motihari Central University is the first university, where Maithili curriculum along with Bhojpuri has been included in the list of the university.

Important work in the field of research, agreements with dozens of institutions

In the journey of seven years, the university has also made a lot of progress in the field of research. Under the national level action plan, the university has signed MOUs with more than a dozen institutions, with the help of which research is being carried out continuously. More than a thousand research papers of the students of the university have been published, while 100 books have also been published by the students and teachers.

Looking for new options even after joining the society

The university administration has also started looking for new options for development by connecting with the society. Under the Social Partnership Scheme, the University has adopted five villages, where every possibility of development along with the field of education is being explored. College students go to these villages and explain to the people the importance of education, health and cleanliness. Villagers are also made aware about government schemes.

The university will start taking shape as soon as it gets the land.

302 acres of land is required for Mahatma Gandhi Central University. About 135 acres of land has been acquired so far. With the availability of the remaining land, the university building will also start taking shape. The preparation of the project on the land is also in the final stage. Such a big achievement in a short time and the growing steps of the university will prove to be a milestone not only for Champaran but also for Bihar and the country in the field of education and employment. Those who have studied from here are making their name famous in the big cities of the country as well as in foreign countries. Out of the 1485 students who have passed out so far from KVV, around one thousand students participated in the first convocation ceremony. Whereas 161 students have been given gold medals. Best wishes have been extended to all the committee members and teachers formed for the successful organization of the convocation. Here, after the announcement of solution to the land problem, there is joy among the students of KVK.

KVK received many gifts in the convocation ceremony, paving the way for construction

The first convocation ceremony was historic for the University. In this ceremony, KVV received many gifts which were awaited for years. With the announcement of solution to the pending land problem, the way for construction has been paved. KVV was struggling with the problem of land since its inception. Out of 301.96 acres, the University has received 134.57 acres of land. Expressing happiness over the success of the convocation, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Kumar Srivastava expressed gratitude towards the chief guest and special guests. Also said that it has been announced to provide the remaining land to the KVV. Along with this, KVV has also got permission for DPR. Now work will be done rapidly in the direction of the building. The state government has announced cooperation for any kind of disruption.
