MECON, a prestigious institute located in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, was honored with the prestigious Engineering Excellence Award in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The event was organized on Wednesday (27 December). Awarded the prestigious ‘IEI Industry Excellence Award’ at the 38th Indian Congress on the theme ‘Re-imagining Tomorrow: Shaping the Future through Disruptive and Interdisciplinary Technologies’. The 38th Indian Congress is being hosted by the ‘Institution of Engineers (India), Jabalpur Chapter’. The event has been organized in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The three-day celebration will run from 27 to 29 December 2023. Deputy Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Rajendra Shukla and former Secretary to the Government of India UP Singh were also present during the awarding of MECON. MECON CMD Ajit Kumar Saxena and Director (Commercial) Sanjay Kumar Verma received the award. MECON officials were honored with this prestigious honor among well-known technocrats and academicians from India and abroad.
