Once a year on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, devotees are shown the feet of the adorable Thakur Banke Bihari. Devotees started reaching the temple from 6:00 am with the desire to have darshan of his holy feet. Due to which the pressure of the crowd started building on the temple. But barricading was done by the police in the night itself. In such a situation, devotees started queuing up on the road leading from Vidyapeeth Square to Phogla Ashram.

At 8:00 in the morning, a long line started on the ISKCON road even beyond the Hari Nikunj intersection. The devotees kept moving towards the temple with the help of the line and started reaching the street of the temple. But due to improper arrangement of barricading, the situation started deteriorating and there was even a scuffle between the devotees.

The crowd of devotees was such that about one and a half to 2 kilometer long line was formed in the barricading outside the temple. And on the other hand, due to the heat, the health of the children, women and elders in the line started deteriorating. All the devotees returned without having darshan and while returning, kept cursing the chaos of the administration. Due to Sunday being today, more crowd can gather in the temple.
