After this, Maruti’s Japanese subsidiary Suzuki showcased its production model at the Japan Mobility Show held in Tokyo in late October. Now it has been seen during testing on the roads of Gurugram.

According to a report by Times of India, the exterior design of Maruti Suzuki’s first electric SUV EVX is quite similar to its concept model, which was showcased at the Auto Expo 2023. This electric SUV has been given a muscular and futuristic design. It has been told in the report that during the test in India also, it was photographed several times through spy cameras. Looking at these pictures it shows that car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has decided not to make any changes in the design of its already showcased concept model.
When will it be launched in India and what will be the price?
However, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has announced to launch its first electric car EVX in the year 2025. It is likely that the company may launch it in April 2025. At the same time, it can be a five seater car, in which at least five people can travel comfortably. Apart from this, if we talk about its prices, it is being estimated that its price in India’s ex-showroom can start from Rs 25 lakh.
Battery, Motor and Range
Maruti Suzuki India’s first electric SUV EVX could possibly come with a dual motor setup with a 60 kWh battery pack. The company has stated the range of this vehicle as 550 kilometers. The EVX car will come with 4×4 powertrain. The company has also claimed that the battery pack of this EV can be capable of giving a range of up to 550 km when fully charged.
Features and competition
Now if we talk about the features of Maruti Suzuki electric SUV car EVX, then it can be given features like LED light elements, large touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging and regenerative braking. At the same time, in the Indian car market, it will compete with Hyundai Kona Electric and MG ZS EV. This will be a more premium option than Mahindra XUV400 EV and Tata Nexon Electric.
