Maruti Suzuki EVX unveiled at Japan Mobility Show
Maruti Suzuki Japan’s first electric vehicle (EV) is the eVX, which was unveiled as a concept car at the 2023 Japan Automobility Auto Expo. This is a mid-size SUV. This car is an important step for Maruti Suzuki, which is India’s largest car manufacturer.

eVX is built on a new dedicated electric platform. It has a 60kWh lithium-ion battery pack and a 100kW electric motor. The motor can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 9 seconds. Which claims to give a range of 550 kilometers on a single charge.

The eVX will have features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a sunroof. The car will also have an ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), which will include features like automatic braking, lane departure warning and cruise control.
