Maruti Suzuki India has started preparations to launch the EVX electric SUV car in the market. He had showcased the concept model of this car in the 2023 Auto Expo show. Now preparations are being made to launch its production model in the market. Maruti’s Japanese subsidiary Suzuki has unveiled this car at the Japan Mobility Show held in Tokyo till 31st October. Apart from this, recently this car was shot with a spy camera while testing on the roads of India. It is expected that Maruti Suzuki India will launch this car in the Indian car market by 2025.

Maruti EVX SUV Car Battery Motor and Range

It is expected that the ex-showroom price of Maruti Suzuki EVX SUV car in India can be around Rs 25 lakh. This will be a five seater car, in which at least five people can travel comfortably. This concept electric SUV car has a dual motor setup with 60 kW battery pack. The company has stated the range of this vehicle as 550 kilometers. The EVX car will come with 4×4 powertrain.

Features and competition of Maruti EVX SUV car

Talking about the features of Maruti EVX SUV car, it can be given features like LED light elements, large touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging and regenerative braking. At the same time, in the Indian car market it will compete with Hyundai Kona Electric and MG ZS EV. This will be a more premium option than Mahindra XUV400 EV and Tata Nexon Electric.

Hyundai Creta Electric

Creta is one of the best selling cars of Hyundai in the SUV segment in the Indian car market. The Japanese car manufacturer is now coming into the market with its electric model. Hyundai has been testing the Creta Electric for a long time, which has been captured from the prototype camera. Details of both the exterior and interior of this electric model have been revealed. Compared to the ICE model of Creta, some changes can be seen in its interior.

How will be the interior of Hyundai Creta Electric?

A separate instrument cluster can be seen in the interior of the Creta Electric Prototype. In this, details related to electric powertrain like range, battery status, region data are visible. It also has a different touchscreen setup, which is slightly smaller than the ICE model. There is no gear selector lever like the automatic variant of the ICE version. Instead it may come with a rotary knob to select the drive mode. Along with these changes, it also gets a switch and some elements below the push button start.

Will electric car be cheaper?

Currently, Hyundai Motor India also has Kona EV and Ioniq 5 in its electric vehicle portfolio. In such a situation, Creta EV is being prepared to reach more and more people. In this, the corner will be placed below the EV. At present, details related to its range including battery pack have not been revealed, but its range can be between 450 kilometers to 500 kilometers. It will compete with Tata Nexon EV in the Indian car market.
