Martyr memorial building will be built in Maharajganj at a cost of Rs 100 crore, Governor laid the foundation stone

Maharajganj. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar laid the foundation stone of Shaheed Devsharan Singh memorial building located in Bangra village and freedom fighter late. Statue of Raghuveer Singh unveiled. Also inaugurated the library established in his memory. A total of Rs 99 crore 98 lakh will be spent on the construction of the memorial building. On this occasion, Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar said that India will soon be counted among the developed countries. The Governor said that it is the dream of the Prime Minister that the country should develop. It is the responsibility of all of us to make it come true. People used to call India the golden bird. Now India will not become a golden bird, rather India will become a golden lion. If India becomes a golden lion then its roar will be heard by the whole world and only then India will become the world leader. He said that if someone calls me a Bihari, I feel proud. The dream that the martyrs had seen at the time of the country’s independence seems to be coming true today. The sons of the freedom struggle wanted to see India as a developed nation, today the Prime Minister of the country is following the same path.

Bangra village, land of heroes

He said that Bangra village is the land of heroes. He said that we want to do something about education. This is the dream of the entire people of Bihar. Our Bihar is going in this direction. The identity of our country should come forward. He said that I feel that this is not a Ram temple, it is a national temple of India’s identity. On January 22, the identity of the nation is once again coming to the fore. On January 22, Ram Lalla will be seated with the hands of the Prime Minister. We will celebrate Diwali on that day. This temple is not a Ram temple but a national temple. He called for celebrating Deepotsav on 22nd January. He honored all the freedom fighters of Maharajganj by giving them body clothes.

Martyred in the Quit India Movement of 1942

Maharajganj MP Janardan Singh Sigriwal said that our Birbakuds had even lost their lives in uprooting the British rule from India. Today, our Governor of Bihar came to the land of freedom fighters and laid the foundation stone of Senani Samman Bhavan in their honour. Kept in Bishoon Singh’s land. The vote of thanks was given by the President of the Forum, E Sugendra Singh. Dev Sharan Singh of Bangra was martyred in the Quit India Movement of 1942. His son Baliram Singh told that in the past, while hoisting the national flag at the Phulena Martyr Memorial, he was shot by the British Government with bullets. After 14 days, he attained martyrdom during treatment in Siwan Hospital.

Land was given in 1946 to build the memorial

Professor Dr. Janardan Singh of Patna Science College and Geological Survey of India officer Shiv Shankar Singh told that after Devsharan Singh was martyred in the Quit India Movement, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Suryadev Singh to build a memorial in the village. In which it was decided to build a memorial. Bahuria Chandjota Kunwar, wife of Babu Vishun Singh, ancestor of committee chairman E Sugendra Kumar Singh, and Dulhan Ramdeva Kunwar, wife of Babu Baidyanath Singh, had given land in 1946 to build the memorial. Jaiprakash Narayan had laid the foundation of Devsharan Singh Memorial, after which Dev Sharan Singh Memorial was completed.

27 types of dishes were served to the Governor

Maharajganj. 27 types of dishes were served to the Governor and visitors at the residence of E Sugendra Singh located in Bangra of the local block. In which various dishes ranging from coarse grains to currently grown grains were served.
