Maratha Reservation : The ongoing movement for Maratha reservation in Maharashtra has been ended. Late on Friday night, state Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had sent a draft ordinance to activist Manoj Jarange, who was agitating for Maratha reservation, regarding his various demands. A statement from the Chief Minister’s Office on the matter said that Eknath Shinde held meetings with officials to discuss the demands and later sent a delegation with the draft ordinance to meet the workers.

Received threat to start march towards Mumbai today

Manoj Jarange had announced earlier in the day that if the government did not fulfill his demands by tonight, he would start marching towards Mumbai on Saturday and sit on a hunger strike.
