Manish Sisodia reached home from Tihar Jail to meet his ailing wife.

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia reached home from Tihar Jail to meet his ailing wife after getting permission from the court. Sisodia is lodged in Tihar jail in the alleged liquor scam case. He has been allowed to meet his wife for six hours from 10 am to 4 pm. Sisodia reached his residence on Mathura Road in a police vehicle at around ten in the morning. Policemen were also present with him.

Earlier, in June also the Delhi High Court had allowed Sisodia to meet his wife Seema, but he could not meet her as he was admitted to the hospital after Seema’s health suddenly deteriorated. Sisodia’s wife is suffering from ‘multiple sclerosis’. While allowing Sisodia to meet his wife, the court has ordered him not to talk to the media or participate in any political activity.

Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sisodia was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in February. Earlier, he was the Deputy Chief Minister in the Arvind Kejriwal government. He had many other departments also. Recently the Supreme Court had rejected the bail plea of Sisodia.
