Lucknow : If you are fond of eating mangoes then there is good news for you. Like every year, the mango festival is going to start in Lucknow this time too. This time this festival will be of three days, in which mangoes from every corner of the country will be brought here. Here people will get to eat all kinds of mangoes. Let us tell you that this time the mango festival is starting from 14th July and it will continue till 16th July. Like every year, this time too it is expected that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate it. The Divisional Commissioner instructed the officials of the Transport Department to ensure proper arrangement of adequate number of suburban buses from major places of the city to the festival site for the movement of common man. In view of the mango festival, he has given instructions to the police department for smooth operation of comprehensive security arrangements, traffic and parking at the venue.

This festival will be held at Awadh Shilpgram located on Shaheed Path. Divisional Commissioner of Lucknow Dr. Roshan Jacob said that the Mango Festival 2023 will be organized from July 14 to 16 in Avadh Shilpgram Avadh Bihar Yojana, Lucknow. A meeting has been held with the officials regarding this. Necessary guidelines have been given to all and all the preparations are also almost complete.

At the same time, instructions have been given to the Jal Nigam to arrange clean drinking water for the farmers and guests. For cleanliness and proper arrangement of dustbins etc. at various places, instructions have been given by the Food Safety Department to get the samples of the products prepared by the Municipal Corporation, different types of food stalls, examined.

These mangoes will be famous

Samples of more than 725 species including Chausa, Dussehri, Totapari, Hapus, Sindhura, Baiganpalli, Malgova, Ratnagiri and Himsagar will be included in this mango festival. On the other hand, there is less hope of getting Dussehri mangoes in these mangoes.

There will be shortage of Dussehri mangoes

This time, the famous Dussehri mangoes of Malihabad are expected to be less available in the mango festival. Because Dussehri mangoes have suffered huge losses this time due to rain and insects. In such a situation, only a small amount of Dussehri is left. It has to be seen whether people get Dussehri mangoes in this mango festival or not.

Mangoes from Bihar to Maharashtra
