In exchange for money, unqualified persons have been appointed as teachers in government schools. He said that the school education infrastructure is crumbling and the quality of education is reaching new lows every day. But suddenly the school education department has woken up from its sleep and has decided to distribute free notebooks to the students.

He also urged the officials of the School Education Department to distribute school bags, pencils and other things like geometry boxes, colored pencils etc. to the students and only after this he took a dig at the Trinamool Congress government and said that however, the Model Code of Conduct is yet to be implemented. Is effective and the Chief Minister is a public representative. Therefore, distributing notebooks with images of the Chief Minister on the cover page and inner pages of the notebook is a violation of the code of conduct. Through this notebook, an attempt has been made to influence the parents of the students who are voters.

Therefore, to continue the distribution, the school education department should remove the photographs of Mamata Banerjee and distribute these notebooks with photographs of Swami Vivekananda and Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar on them, he said. He has drawn the attention of the Election Commission and the Special Observer of West Bengal for Lok Sabha elections regarding this. A letter has also been written to the Election Commission on behalf of the state BJP regarding this and a demand has been made to ban the distribution.
