According to sources, the Chief Minister will offer prayers at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. The Chief Minister will hold a meeting with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. It has been told that this meeting will be very important in Punjab. It is noteworthy that along with Ms. Banerjee, Trinamool General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee has already made it clear that the party will contest the Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal alone.

There may be discussion regarding farmer movement and India alliance in the meeting

Similarly, the top leadership of Aam Aadmi Party had also ruled out any possibility of seat sharing with Congress in Punjab. In such a situation, political observers say that the proposed meeting indicates the beginning of an informal alternative front leaving Congress and the Left Front. However, party insiders have not given any indication in this regard. But he has said that an important agenda of the meeting will be the newly revived farmers’ protest on the borders of Delhi-NCR.

Mamata Banerjee has already expressed solidarity with the farmers’ protest. The Chief Minister had taken a dig against the Center over the use of tear gas shells to disperse farmers at the Punjab-Haryana Shambhu border. It has been told that how to strengthen the farmers’ movement on the borders of Delhi and Punjab and the strategy of Trinamool and Aam Aadmi Party in the fight to join the India alliance is also expected to be discussed in the meeting.
