On Wednesday, smoke started coming out from the wheels of train number 12525 Up Bihar Sampark Kranti Express between Bada Gopal railway station and Golden Ganj of Chhapra-Sonpur railway section. Due to the smoke coming out of the wheel, the passengers sitting in the train were frightened due to the fear of fire. During this time there was chaos in the train. As soon as the loco pilot came to know about this, he stopped the train. As soon as the train stopped, the passengers got out of the train. Smoke coming out due to brake binding in the wheel of slipper coach

According to the information, smoke started coming out from the wheels of Bihar Sampark Kranti Express near Bada Gopal station on Chhapra-Sonpur railway section at around 12:30 pm on Wednesday. This smoke came out due to brake binding in the wheel of the reserved slipper coach. Seeing smoke coming out of the wheel, passengers feared fire. After which an atmosphere of chaos was created among the passengers traveling in the sleeper bogie. Screaming started among the passengers.

Meanwhile, the loco pilot of the train noticed smoke coming from the wheel. After this, the loco pilot stopped the train and then along with the guard, inspected the train and found out the cause of the smoke. Investigation revealed that smoke was coming out due to friction in the brake binding of the wheel. After this, the problem was rectified on the spot and then the train was sent on its way. During this time the train remained standing at the spot for about 15 minutes.
