There is panic in the jail administration and police department due to the prisoner’s escape. A police team has been deployed to catch the absconding prisoner. The entire area has been blocked and vehicles are being searched. DM said that the jail personnel have been found guilty. The jail superintendent has also been interrogated. Explanation will be asked. In this case, action will be taken against the guilty jail personnel.
Was accused of murder of YouTuber Haradhan Kumar
According to the information, YouTuber Haradhan Kumar was murdered by slitting his throat on the night of October 14 in Sosandi village of Rahui police station area. The family members of the deceased had accused Ranvijay Kumar, a resident of Katrahi village of Bind police station area, in this murder case. After this, Ranvijay Kumar was arrested on November 1, since then he was in jail. On Tuesday morning, a prisoner lodged on charges of murder escaped from the Mandal Jail located in Deepnagar, taking advantage of the dense fog.
Administration received late information
The administration received information about the prisoner’s escape after about four hours. As soon as the information was received, District Magistrate Shashank Shubhankar and Superintendent of Police Ashok Mishra reached Mandal Kara Bihar Sharif and investigated the matter. The investigation has revealed negligence on the part of the jail staff. It is said that the CCTV cameras installed in the jail exposed the entire incident. Due to police negligence, the prisoner climbed the pole with the help of a rope and jumped out of the jail. It is being told that in this case the police is interrogating the brother of the accused at Deepnagar police station.
Negligence of jail came to light
Superintendent of Police Ashok Mishra said that the jail administration informed late about the prisoner’s escape. After this, he reached the jail and investigated thoroughly. He told that the District Officer has also interrogated the jail personnel. SP said that the jail administration is taking action to register an FIR in Deepnagar police station. At the same time, District Magistrate Shashank Shubhankar said that the jail administration informed about the escape of the prisoner after about four hours, which shows complete negligence. He told that Sadar SDPO and Sub-Divisional Officer are investigating since morning. The complete investigation report will be sent to the Jail IG.
Ranvijay Kumar was serving sentence
19 year old Haradhan Kumar was brutally murdered on the night of 13 October in Sosandi village of Rahui police station area. Haradhan was murdered after entering the house by slitting his throat. Ranvijay Kumar, resident of Katrahi village of Bind police station area, was arrested on charges of murder of Haradhan. In this case, Ranvijay was serving a sentence in Bihar Sharif Mandal Jail, who today escaped by jumping over the jail wall. There was chaos in the jail premises after the prisoner escaped from the jail.
