National Investigation Agency (NIA) today Tamil Nadu PFI Arrested five accused in connection with the criminal conspiracy case. The arrests were made after a search operation in Theni, Dindigul, Madurai and Chennai districts of Tamil Nadu.
Raids at six places in Tamil Nadu
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday conducted raids at six places in Tamil Nadu in a case related to illegal activities of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI). Officials said that PFI’s Madurai regional president Mohammad Kaiser and Theni’s SDPI district secretary Sadiq Ali were detained.
15 people have been arrested so far in the PFI case
Since registering the case early last year, so far 15 PFI members have been arrested by the NIA.
