Giridih, Mrinal Sinha: Giridih Police has taken major action against cyber criminals. Police have arrested 12 cyber criminals by conducting raids in different police station areas. All these cyber criminals used to cheat people in different ways like providing maternity benefits to pregnant women, cheating through Airtel Payment Bank’s Mitra app, cheating by posing as fake bank officials. Police have recovered 19 mobile phones, 33 SIM cards, one ATM card, five bikes and Rs 2 lakh 19 thousand in cash from all these cyber criminals. The arrested cyber criminals include Pawan Kumar Rana, resident of Koldih of Ahilyapur police station area, Mohammad Shamshad Ansari, resident of Bharkunda of Gandey police station area, Sajjad Ansari of Bharkunda, Sajjad Ansari of Gandey police station area, Salamat Ansari, resident of Kuljari of Gandey police station area, Jhilua resident of Budhai. Sachchidanand Kumar Mandal, Deepak Verma, resident of Jharikuan in Kharagpura police station area of Uttar Pradesh, Nitesh Kumar and Pankaj Kumar Mandal, residents of Mahadaiya in Bengabad police station area, Mukesh Mandal, resident of Piprasingha in Ahilyapur police station area, Nirmal Kumar Mandal, resident of Raksakuto in Gandey police station area, Taratand police station. Rupesh Mandal, resident of Ahilyapur Mod of the area and Sohan Mandal, resident of Jhitari of Taratand police station area are included.
Special campaign against cyber criminals in Giridih
Giridih SP Deepak Kumar Sharma has given this information in a press conference. SP said that a special campaign is being conducted in Giridih against cyber criminals. In this series, 12 cyber criminals have been arrested by conducting raids against cyber criminals in various police station areas of the district. The raiding team included Cyber DSP Sandeep Suman Samdarshi, Trainee DSP Kailash Prasad Mahato, Trainee DSP Neelam Kujur, Cyber Station Incharge Ajay Kumar, Sister Subah De, Sister Saroj Mandal, Sister Gaurav Kumar, Sister Sanjay Mukhiyar, Saket Verma, Jitendra Nath Mahato, Ashutosh. Kumar Ranjan and Havildar Suresh Yadav were included.
