Chhath Mahaparva 2023 has ended. During this time an unfortunate incident has happened in Bettiah. There was a cylinder blast at Chhath Ghat, which left more than half a dozen people in the grip. The incident took place at Pakriya Chhath Ghat situated on the banks of Sikarhana river. Where people had reached the ghat to offer prayers to the rising sun and suddenly a cylinder exploded. A total of 9 people were injured in this incident.
An accident occurred due to cylinder explosion at Chhath Ghat of Chanpatia in Bettiah. Nine people were injured in the accident. The condition of two of them remains critical. This incident took place at Pakriya Chhath Ghat situated on the banks of Sikarhana river. There is a possibility of an accident due to balloon filling cylinder. The injured are undergoing treatment in CHC. Three injured people have been referred to GMCH.
