Naseem, accused of attacking a woman constable in Saryu Express, was killed by the police in an encounter on Friday morning. His two companions Azad and Vishwambhar Dayal were injured. On August 30, during the Sawan fair, a woman constable was attacked in the Saryu Express train. The female constable was found lying on the floor of the train soaked in blood. There was a stir in the police department after this incident came to light.
UP STF and Ayodhya Police were continuously searching for the accused. SO Purakalandar Ratan Sharma and two constables are also reported injured in this encounter. The UP government had placed a reward of Rs 1 lakh on the accused. These people used to commit incidents of robbery in trains. According to the information, there was an encounter between the police team and the accused on Chhatriwa Para Kail road of Purakalandar police station in Ayodhya district. In the same case, two other accused from Inayat Nagar police station have also been arrested in a police encounter.

The woman constable was brought to the Trauma Center of Lucknow KGMU. There were serious injury marks on many parts of his body including his head and face.
In this heinous case, Allahabad High Court had taken suo motu cognizance and ordered the immediate arrest of the accused. When the woman constable regained consciousness, she informed the officers about the attack and said that she was attacked by two people. At present the woman constable is being treated at the Trauma Center of KGMU. STF was deployed to uncover the incident.
