What is the allegation against Mahua Moitra?
Actually, Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra has been accused of ‘asking questions for money’. A recommendation has been made to expel him regarding this matter. Mahua Moitra was accused by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey. Dubey had alleged that Mahua had received gifts from the businessman in return. Mahua was also accused of sharing the login password of his parliamentary ID with the businessman.
The Ethics Committee had on November 9 accepted the recommendation to expel Moitra on the allegations.
