Mahindra XUV300 Facelift gets its name, know when it will be launched

Mahindra XUV300 Facelift: India’s leading automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has given a new name to the much awaited XUV300 facelift. This new upcoming car will now be known as Mahindra XUV3X0. It is being said that the domestic car manufacturer may debut this SUV car in the global market on April 29, 2024. After its launch in India, the ex-showroom price of this car can start from Rs 8.5 lakh. This will be a 5-seater car.

Mahindra XUV300 facelift engine

Mahindra XUV300 facelift can be given petrol and diesel engines of the current model. The current XUV300 SUV car has a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, which generates power of 110 PS and peak torque of 200 Nm. It also has a second 1.5-litre diesel engine, which is capable of generating power of 117 PS and peak torque of 300 Nm.

Transmission of Mahindra XUV300 facelift

6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT gearboxes have been paired with both the engines of Mahindra XUV300 facelift. The option of T-GDI (turbo petrol engine) is also available in the current XUV300. With this, only 6-speed manual gearbox is given option. It is estimated that the company can replace the AMT gearbox found in the current model of XUV300 with a torque converter.

Features of Mahindra XUV300 facelift

Mahindra XUV300 facelift SUV car can be given a large floating touchscreen infotainment system, full digital driver display, wireless phone charger, dual zone climate control, cruise control and ventilated front seats. For the safety of passengers, it can be provided with features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), rearview camera, rear parking sensor and 360-degree camera. In the market it will compete with Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
