Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 and Z8L have the same 2198 cc engine with manual transmission, which is capable of generating power of 172.45 bhp at 3500 rpm and peak torque of 370 Nm at 1500-3000 rpm. Like the engine, color options are also given in the Z8 and Z8L variants, which include Dazzling Silver, Red Rage, Napoli Black, Deep Forest and Evertus White colors.

The features of Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV Z8 and Z8L are also similar. Both of these off-road diesel engine 7 seater SUV cars have multi-function steering wheel, power adjustable exterior rear view mirror, touchscreen, automatic climate control, engine start stop button, anti-lock braking system, alloy wheels, power window rear, power window front. In the segment of off-road SUV cars, it competes with Tata Safari car in the market. However, this force also gives tough competition to Gurkha.
