used to practice bowling in the garden

Gaur had told in an interview a few months ago that I was practicing bowling in the garden. My father was amazed that she was able to throw the ball with full swing of her arm. My father was a left-arm bowler in college, but he never got a chance to play cricket. But when he saw that I had potential, he always stayed with me and helped me.

Admission in ICC Academy

When Mahika’s family moved to Dubai, she joined the ICC Academy and met future UAE captain Chhaya Mughal. Gaur told that when I went to ICC (academy) for the first time, Mughal was taking indoor training and there coach Adnan (Sabri) sir said that I can bowl to him. Mahika revealed, ‘I bowled to Mughal and she was the first person I bowled to. I was surprised when my father told me that he is from the UAE national team.

Has taken 10 wickets so far

Mahika Gaur made her T20 debut against England and till now she has played 20 T20 matches. In which he has played 19 T20 matches for UAE. He has taken nine wickets for UAE and one wicket for England. Mahika was a part of the UAE women’s cricket team from 2019 to 2022. He has taken 10 wickets at an average of 32.00. His best performance has been 3/21 wickets.
