Patna. Mahavir Mandir Nyas will build three new hospitals in Bihar. On Wednesday, a budget of 331 crores was passed for the financial year 2023-24 of Mahavir Mandir Nyas. Trust Secretary Acharya Kishore Kunal said that the income of Mahavir Mandir has been estimated at Rs 31 crore in the current financial year. The estimated expenditure is only 3 crores. In this way there will be a saving of Rs 28 crore. Similarly, income of Mahavir Cancer Institute is Rs.149.76 crore and expenditure is Rs.151.16 crore, income of Mahavir Arogya Sansthan and Mahavir Netralaya is Rs.24 crore and expenditure is Rs.22.98 crore and income of Mahavir Vatsalya Hospital is Rs.33.15 crore and expenditure is Rs.33.33 crore.

Mahavir Mandir Trust will compensate the loss of Mahavir Hospitals

Trust Secretary Acharya Kishore Kunal told that Mahavir Mandir Trust will compensate for the loss of Mahavir Hospitals. Maximum amount of funds for Virat Ramayana Temple In this financial year’s budget, the maximum provision of 80 crores has been made for the Virat Ramayana Temple under construction at Kaithwaliya near Kesariya in East Champaran. A budget provision of Rs 10 crore has been made in this financial year for the construction of Janaki Janmasthan Temple at Punouradham in Sitamarhi. Similarly, Rs 1 crore will be spent on the construction of a temple on the Patna-Ara National Highway in Sakardi near Koilwar.

Specialized Hospital for Senior Citizens in Rajiv Nagar, Patna

Trust Secretary Acharya Kishore Kunal said that provision has been made in the budget for three new hospitals. An amount of one crore rupees has been earmarked for a specialized hospital for senior citizens in Rajiv Nagar, Patna. All senior citizens above 60 years of age will be treated at CGHS rate in this hospital. A provision of one crore rupees has also been made for the Raghav Arogya Mandir (Ram) hospital being started in Ayodhya. Free treatment will be given to recluse monks and ascetics in this hospital, while poor patients will also get the facility of treatment at subsidized rates. A budget provision of Rs 8.80 crore has been made for the under-construction children’s cancer hospital in Phulwarisharif, Patna. This will be the country’s first specialized cancer hospital for children.

Free treatment for cancer patients up to 18 years

Trust secretary Acharya Kishore Kunal said that Rs 3 crore will be spent on the exemption in the treatment bill of poor patients in Mahavir Cancer Institute, Mahavir Arogya Sansthan, Mahavir Vatsalya Hospital, Mahavir Netralaya, Vishalnath Hospital etc. run by Mahavir Mandir. Rs 1 crore will be spent on free treatment of cancer patients up to 18 years of age in Mahaveer Cancer Institute and Rs 50 lakh will be spent on providing one unit of blood free of cost to other cancer patients. Mahavir Mandir Nyas will give a grant of Rs 2.80 crore for the development of its hospitals. Apart from this, Mahavir Mandir will deposit a fee of Rs 1.20 crore to the Bihar State Religious Trust Board. This amount is more than the fees paid to the Religious Trust Board by all the Maths and Temples of Bihar together.

Ramayana research institute, Sanskrit school and girl’s school will open

In the current financial year, Rs 1 crore will be spent on the establishment of the earlier proposed Ramayana University at Ismailpur in Vaishali district. Apart from this, Mahavir Mandir will open three important research and educational institutes. Ramayana Research Institute is being established for intensive research on Valmiki Ramayana, Ramcharitmanas and Adhyatma Ramayana. A budget provision of Rs 60 lakh has been kept for this. Under this financial year, a Sanskrit school will be opened in Patna and girls’ school in Ismailpur of Vaishali. Along with these schools, a provision of sufficient amount has been made in the budget for the Ramavat Sangat run in Mahavir Mandir.

Rs 3.5 crore for Annakshetra in Patna, Ayodhya and Sitamarhi

A total budget provision of Rs 3.5 crore has been made for food fields in Patna, Ayodhya and Sitamarhi in the current financial year. These include the Daridra Narayan Bhoj operated in the Mahavir temple, the Ram Rasoi operated for the visitors of Ramlala in Ayodhya and the Sita Rasoi operated for the devotees at Punauradham, the birthplace of Mata Janaki. Rs 1.20 crore will be spent in the current financial year for providing free food to the patients admitted in all the hospitals of Mahavir Mandir. A budget provision of Rs 50 lakh has been made for other types of assistance to the poor, Rs 20 lakh for Dalit upliftment and assistance.
