Ayodhya Ram Temple: Even though no official announcement has been made yet by the Prime Minister’s Office regarding the date of consecration of Lord Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, it is believed that Ram Lalla will be seated in the sanctum sanctorum at the auspicious time on 22 January 2024.

Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, President of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, said that the long wait of 500 years is now over. The grand Ram temple will be inaugurated in Ayodhya on 22 January 2024. At last this auspicious moment came near. Mahant has said in his latest statement that the inauguration of the temple in the lifetime of all of us will be like a dream come true.
Inauguration will be held in the presence of Prime Minister and saints
Mahant Nritya Gopal Das said that we all were waiting for thousands of years for a grand temple of Lord Ram to be built in Ayodhya. There was a long struggle for this. But, we all worked with patience. Finally now that wait is about to end. The historic inauguration of the temple will take place on 22 January 2024 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and saints. Everyone is happy about this.
Very auspicious time on 22nd January
According to Kameshwar Chaupal, member of VHP’s central executive and trustee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav as the chief host. The aspect of security arrangements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is important. Therefore, in this regard, PMO and security agencies will jointly decide the program with coordination.
Therefore, no comment can be made regarding the date at present. But, as far as the date of 22nd January is concerned, the auspicious time of the day is very good. Because of this, this auspicious time is being discussed a lot. However, there is a scriptural process of Vedic ritual which will be followed under the guidance of Acharyas. According to the Vedic Acharyas, the movable idol of Ramlal will be installed on the Mahapeeth at an auspicious time.
One lakh saints will be included
Meanwhile, the outline of the programs for the grand event of Pran Pratishtha program is being finalized rapidly. More than one lakh saints and sages from across the country will also participate in the consecration ceremony of Lord Ramlala.
According to Alok Kumar, International Executive President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, more than one lakh saints and sages from across the country will be invited to the consecration ceremony of Lord Ramlala. VHP will take care of their food and accommodation. He told that VHP will also run a free kitchen for the devotees coming to Ayodhya for the ceremony.
Bajrang Dal will take out Shaurya Yatras
Vishwa Hindu Parishad will celebrate Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Pratishtha ceremony as a festival of joy all over the world. Before the consecration ceremony, Bajrang Dal will take out 2,281 Shaurya Yatras from September 30 to October 15 and will connect more than five lakh villages of the country. He said that during these yatras, religious meetings will also be organized on the yatra routes.
VHP will organize grand events across the country
According to the working president of VHP, on the day of the consecration ceremony, puja, yagya, havan and aarti will be performed in monasteries and temples across the country. Along with this, Ram devotees will definitely light five lamps in every house at night and Prasad will also be distributed among crores of devotees. He said that the program of consecration ceremony of Ram temple should become the program of every Ram devotee, so that not only the people living in the country but also the people living abroad can participate in this great festival.
Saints will create religious atmosphere through padyatra
Along with this, during the Diwali fortnight, saints of the country will also undertake padyatra and hold meetings of Hindus in villages and cities. He said, before the establishment of the temple among the villages and youth, there will be a widespread awakening of Hindu unity in the country and the society will unite. It will be remembered for ages as an institution of social coordination.

The statue of Ramlala in the sanctum sanctorum of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple will be 51 inches tall. In this, the Lord will be seen in the form of a child. The statue of Ramlala will be installed in the form of a standing child on a lotus on the platform built in the sanctum sanctorum. The opinion of astronomers has also been taken in deciding the height of the statue of Ramlala, so that the first ray of the sun falls on his forehead.
Arrangement for darshan of 25 thousand people together
Keeping in mind the security arrangements of the temple, protection from floods and earthquakes etc., advice is being taken from all the IITs of the country and from big engineers and scientists. Iron, steel or concrete has not been used in the temple. 25,000 people will be able to have darshan of Ramlala simultaneously. A pilgrim service center and hospital will also be built with proper arrangements for toilets, electricity, water, lockers and seating. No fee will be charged from the devotees. There will be no fee for aarti and darshan.
The most attractive idol will be installed
Three statues of Ramlala are being made by different artisans for consecration in the sanctum sanctorum. In these, artisans from Karnataka, Jammu and Jaipur are carving idols from gray color and white Makrana stone. The idol which will be most beautiful and attractive will be consecrated. The 4.25 feet high Shivalinga has reached Ayodhya via a special chariot from Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh. Its consecration will be done in the Shiva temple of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex.
