Mahadev App: The troubles of former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel have increased. Chhattisgarh Police has registered a case against him in the Mahadev App case. Raipur’s Economic Offenses Wing has registered an FIR against Bhupesh Baghel and many other people in the Mahadev App betting case. News agency ANI, quoting sources, has said that the police have registered a case against former CM Bhupesh Baghel under sections 120B, 34, 406, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the IPC.
ED had submitted the report
The Economic Offenses Wing in Chhattisgarh has registered a case against former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and others in the alleged Mahadev online betting scam on the basis of the investigation report submitted by the ED. The Enforcement Directorate, which has been investigating the money laundering case related to Mahadev App for more than a year, had recently alleged that its investigation has revealed the involvement of various high-ranking politicians and bureaucrats of Chhattisgarh. The two main promoters of Mahadev App belong to Chhattisgarh. According to ED, the estimated income earned from crime in this case is around Rs 6000 crore.

Case registered regarding Mahadev app
A case has been registered against Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel regarding Mahadev online betting app. This case came into limelight when ED claimed that the then Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel had allegedly earned crores of rupees from app promoters. After the incident came to light, the owner of Mahadev App was also taken into money laundering custody. On behalf of EOW, it has been said that ED is investigating the case and on the basis of the report submitted to the Anti Corruption Bureau, the economic offenses wing of the state, an FIR was registered against Baghel and others at the EOW police station here on March 4. In this case, an FIR has been registered against senior Congress leader Baghel along with app promoters Ravi Uppal, Saurabh Chandrakar, Shubham Soni and Anil Kumar Aggarwal and 14 others.
