Mafia Mukhtar’s younger son Umar Ansari got bail in 3 cases including hate speech, was absconding for 19 months

Mafia Mukhtar Ansari’s younger son Omar Ansari quietly reached Shweta Chaudhary’s MP/MLA court and surrendered along with his 2-3 lawyers on Wednesday afternoon in three cases including hate speech and code of conduct violation. After the surrender, the court took him into judicial custody. During this time, bail applications were made on behalf of Omar in all three cases, which was accepted by the court. Along with this, the court also canceled the non-bailable warrant and attachment proceedings.

FIR was registered in this case

An FIR was registered in the city police station against Mafia Mukhtar’s two sons Abbas and Umar Ansari for violating the code of conduct. The allegation against him was that during the assembly elections on March 3, 2022, Abbas Ansari, who was contesting as a Subhashpa candidate from the Sadar assembly seat, said during a public meeting with his supporters at Paharpur ground in the city area that the administration of Mau district should be given the responsibility after the elections. Threats were given from the stage to stop and settle the score and then teach a lesson. The police had registered an FIR on the basis of investigation. In this case, Abbas’s brother Omar Ansari was not appearing in the court, a non-bailable warrant was issued against him. In this case, anticipatory bail was approved by the High Court. Along with the order of the High Court, an application for bail was given, which the court accepted and ordered his release.

On the other hand, an FIR was registered under the Public Representation Act in case of violation of code of conduct of South Tola police station area. The police have sent the charge sheet in the case to the court. A non-bailable warrant was issued against Umar Ansari when he did not appear in the court in the case. In this case also an application for bail was given. The court of MP/MLA Special Magistrate Shweta Choudhary accepted the bail application in this case also. In another case of code of conduct violation in the Kotwali area, it is alleged that Abbas Ansari along with his supporters had taken out a road show from Rajarampura to Bharhukapura without permission. Five-six vehicles and a crowd of 100 to 150 people had gathered in it. In this case, the police had registered an FIR and sent the charge sheet to the court. In this case too, Abbas Ansari’s brother Omar Ansari was not appearing in the court, a non-bailable warrant was issued against him. In this case, under the order of the High Court, an order has been passed not to take any harassing action.
