Lawyer Khan Saulat Hanif himself had told the police in his statement that it was Ehjam who had created IDs and made them talk to the mobile numbers of all the shooters and Atiq and Ashraf through the FaceTime app. In the upcoming meeting of the Child Welfare Committee, a decision will be taken as to when he will be taken out. Even if he is taken out, the decision in which jail he will be kept or somewhere else will be taken by the police administration.
Atiq’s sister had appealed to the Supreme Court
Mafia Atiq’s sister Shaheen Ahmed had approached the Supreme Court for her nephews. Shaheen had filed a petition saying that both the children no longer want to live in the reform home. The court had also recorded the statements of both of them through an independent lawyer. The decision has not been taken yet due to CWC Chairman Akhilesh Mishra being on leave. But in the meeting this week it will be decided when the Ehjam will be removed after completion of 18 years.
Both minor sons were found abandoned recently
It is noteworthy that after the Umesh Pal murder case, Atiq’s third son Asad Ahmed had absconded. Both elder sons Umar and Ali are already lodged in Naini jail of Lucknow and Prayagraj. After the murder of Umesh Pal, there was no information about his two minor sons Ehzam and Aban. In such a situation, Atiq’s wife Shaista Parveen had filed an application in the court seeking information about her two minor sons. After the intervention of the court, the police gave an affidavit saying that both the sons were found abandoned in Kasari Masari area on March 02. In such a situation, both of them have been kept in the Government Children’s Home. Since then both the sons were kept in the juvenile home of Rajrooppur.
