Bareilly : Abdul Samad alias Saddam, brother-in-law of former MLA Mafia Ashraf, younger brother of former UP MP and mafia Atiq Ahmed, has been shifted from Bareilly to Badaun jail on Tuesday. Along with this, Atiq’s henchman Atin has been shifted to Rampur jail. Atin was shifted from Prayagraj jail to Bareilly a few days ago. STF had arrested Saddam from Delhi. He was wanted for a long time. Police was searching for him from Uttarakhand to Nepal. Recently Saddam had come to meet his girlfriend in Delhi. At that very moment STF caught him. However, many criminals including Saddam’s henchmen Lalla Gaddi and Farhad are lodged in Bareilly jail. It is said that the entire gang including mafia’s brother-in-law Saddam was in Bareilly jail. Due to this, the gang was expected to become active once again, hence the jail officials and administration had sent a confidential report to the government. After this it was decided that Saddam and Atin should be shifted to different jails.

Saddam got a reward of one lakh rupees

Mafia Ashraf’s brother-in-law Saddam Umesh Pal was absconding after the murder. A reward of Rs 1 lakh was announced on his arrest. After being arrested from Delhi, Saddam was kept in the high security barrack of Bareilly jail. Ashraf’s brother-in-law, Saddam, who was lodged in Bareilly jail, used to meet everyone in the jail. Food was served in Ashraf’s jail. The jail staff here were also involved. Ashraf had a role in the murder of Umesh Pal in Prayagraj. That’s why an investigation was conducted in the jail. Along with Saddam, the role of jail police personnel was also suspicious in the investigation. Therefore, an FIR was registered against all the accused including Saddam in Bithri police station. Along with this, many police personnel were suspended.
