Madhyamik Exam 2024: Madhyamik Exam started from today amid tight security

West Bengal Board of Secondary Education Madhyamik Exam Starting from 2nd February. The exam will run from 9:45 am to 1 pm. Strict security arrangements have been made at all the examination centers with CCTV cameras. About nine lakh 23 thousand candidates will appear in the board exam. Helplines have been opened in all the districts to assist the candidates. In case of any problem in reaching the exam centre, candidates can call the helpline numbers 033-23213216 and 033-23213844. The helpline number will be operational from 6 am to 6 pm on every day of the examination from February 2.

Without this, entry into the center will not be allowed. Use of electronic devices is prohibited at the examination center. It is prohibited to carry mobile phones, calculators and other electronic gadgets. Candidates will have to bring pen, pencil, eraser and other necessary materials themselves. It is important to reach the examination center on time. The extra 15 minutes given before the start of the examination are used to read the question paper carefully.

Launch service free for secondary candidates

In view of the secondary examination, special arrangements have been made by Chandannagar Municipal Corporation, Bhadreshwar Municipality, Champdani Municipality. During the examination days, launch service will be free for the candidates at Chandannagar Rani Ghat, Bhadreshwar Babu Ghat and Champdani Palta Ghat. Chandannagar Mayor Ram Chakraborty and Champdani Municipality Chairman Suresh Mishra said that this initiative has been taken for the first time. At the same time, this year 19 candidates from Chandannagar Pravartak Seva Niketan are appearing for the secondary examination. All of them are orphans. Local supervisor Krishna Chatterjee said that it is expected that everyone’s exam will go well.
