Lucknow : An ill-fated date in the month of May in the year 2003 started an interesting and terrifying story. At this time, a sudden incident happened in the life of poetess Madhumita Shukla living there in Paper Mill Colony located in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Madhumita Shukla, who was only 24 years old at that time, was in the journey of emerging career from poetry. That day, 9 May 2003, when Madhumita was in her two-room apartment in Paper Mill Colony, Lucknow, there was a sudden attack. Some people entered his room and started firing furiously at him. Whole body filled with bullets. Madhumita, originally from Lakhimpur, died on the spot. The police got involved in the investigation of the murder.
