Republic Day 2024 Parade: This year’s Republic Day Parade is going to be special in many ways. Rehearsal of the parade is also being done on the duty path of Delhi. This time the Army is going to do something different to make the 75th Republic Day special.
Let us tell you that this year Made in India weapons will be the main center of attraction in the Republic Day parade on Rajpath. During the parade, indigenous weapons like LCH Prachanda helicopter, Pinaka multi-barrel rocket launcher and anti-tank missile Nag will be displayed.
There will be an exhibition of Made in India weapons
Modern armored vehicles and other specialist vehicles will also be displayed during this year’s Republic Day Parade. This year, French President Emmanuel Macron will be the chief guest at the Republic Day parade. Made in India weapons like T-90 tank, BMP-2 infantry combat vehicle, drone jammers, advanced omnidirectional bridge, surface-to-air missiles and multi-function radar etc. will also be displayed.
Women Agniveers of all three armies will march together
This year, it will be the first time that a squad of women firefighters of the Army, Navy and Air Force will be seen doing parallel march on the path of duty. The method of parading of the three armies is different, hence the female Agniveer is trying to fine-tune her marching skills by 26th January. So that all the fire warriors can march step by step.
Two other things will also be special
This time two other things will be special in the Republic Day Parade 2024. First- This time, children from 25 friendly countries will also be a part of the parade in the Republic Day celebrations. Second- This time the National Cadet Corps (NCC) contingent will have the highest number of women cadets in the Republic Day Parade.
