Lucknow University: 66th convocation ceremony will be held in the university on 6th December, 74 percent medals won by daughters.

The 66th convocation ceremony of Lucknow University will be held on 6 December. ISRO Chief S. Somnath will attend the convocation ceremony. The list of medals has been released by the examination department. This time 74 percent of the medals in the university will be in the names of daughters. Girls will be honored on 78 out of 192 medals. Besides, the university has also released the list of Vice Chancellor and Chakraborty Medal. In this, Richa Samant has been declared the university topper. Richa is an MA student and has topped all eight faculties and 49 departments of the university. Aparajita Singh of MA AIH will be awarded 9 gold medals. Whereas LLB student Ifat Khan will be honored with 8 gold medals. Lucknow University spokesperson Dr. Durgesh Srivastava said that Richa Samant will be honored with the Chancellor’s Gold Medal. This medal is given to the student who scores the highest marks in all subjects and departments. Whereas, Swaraj Shukla (Hamirpur) of LLB has been selected for the Chakraborty Gold Medal. Chakraborty Medal is given to the student doing the best social work. At the same time, Bhavini Bahuguna of B.Com has been selected for the Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal. This medal is given to the best NCC cadet. Apart from this, students have also been selected for two Chancellor Silver and 10 Chancellor Bronze medals.

Richa Samant, who received the Chancellor’s Gold Medal, said that getting the Chancellor’s Medal is like a dream, she had never imagined it. Father is a shopkeeper, seven people live in the house. At the same time, Bhavini Bahuguna, who received Dr. Chakraborty Gold Medal of Lucknow University, said that she wants to join the Army and serve the country. Met many officers during NCC. Influenced by him, I have decided to join the army. Governor Gold Medal was also received during the program held at Governor House in February. Vice Chancellor took information about the program

In the brainstorming room of Lucknow University, Vice Chancellor Professor Alok Kumar Rai held a meeting with officials and coordinators regarding the preparations for the Foundation Day celebration on 25th November and the convocation ceremony to be held on 6th December. In the meeting, the Vice Chancellor took detailed information about the minute-to-minute program of the Chancellery and issued necessary guidelines regarding the procession and the seating of the students sitting on the stage. The Vice Chancellor also held a meeting and discussed the list of visitors, whether information was sent to them or not, and also understood the arrangements for their seating etc. The Vice Chancellor gave instructions to everyone regarding the seating plan and decoration of the stage. After getting information about the cultural programs to be held on the evening of the Foundation Day, he gave instructions to the concerned persons. Regarding the convocation, he took information from the officers and convenors about the seating arrangement of the parents to be honored. Besides, there was also a detailed discussion about the principals coming from the colleges and the academic and cultural programs during the convocation week to be held from 28th November to 5th December.
