When the anchor started speaking Hindi during the programme, people protested expressing their displeasure. Slogans were raised against the anchor. During this, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak took charge on the spot.

Defense Minister and Chief Secretary honored
People associated with Bhojpuri society were honored in the programme. During this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was honored with the Bhojpuri Shiromani Award. Apart from this, Durga Shankar Mishra, Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh, was honored with Bhojpuri Ratna Express. Addressing the program, Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra said that one should be proud of his speech. He said that respect may be received anywhere in the world, but the respect received in one’s home is the most special. He said that this honor has always been special. During this, he shared Bhojpuri stories from Holland to other countries of the world.
Surya Pratap Shahi should be proud of his speech
Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi said that we all should be proud of Bhojpuri language. When we go to any state, we get to hear the local dialect there. But many times we refrain from our speech. But we should be proud of our dialect. He said that people are shy to speak Bhojpuri. He said that Bhojpuri has been our identity. Bhojpuri has also contributed a lot in the fight against the British. He gave examples from Bhikhari Thakur to Veer Kunwar Singh.
Surya Pratap Shahi said in Kanpur that tomatoes being expensive is not a matter of concern

While explaining the production of chemical and natural farming, Dr. Anand Kumar Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the Science Center, said that crop production can be productive even if it is three quintals less than chemical. Said that about 30 to 35 percent is spent on chemical fertilizers and medicines, which can be saved and the cost is less.
While talking to the media in Kanpur, Agriculture Education Minister Surya Pratap Shahi said that this is the off-season of tomatoes. That’s why it is not a matter of great concern that tomatoes are getting costlier. That’s why it is natural for their rate to increase. The media should also not make tomato inflation an issue. State and Government of India are encouraging farmers for protective farming. For this, the government is also giving grants to the farmers for protected cultivation. Crops like tomato get damaged during the rainy season. That’s why media should not focus on this. There are three crops in the state according to three seasons.
Please tell that Minister Surya Pratap Shahi has given this statement when the prices of tomatoes in the state are running above Rs 200 per kg. In the major cities of the state including Kanpur, Lucknow, Agra, Gorakhpur, Aligarh, Bareilly and other districts, the price of tomato is running from Rs 200 to 250 per kg. And in Ghaziabad there was even a fight over tomatoes. In such a situation, this statement of the Agriculture Minister is not being accepted even by the people of the party.
