The Yogi government of the state implemented the Police Commissionerate system in many districts including the capital, so that with a strong police department, the general public can get convenience and there is no shortage of policemen. At the same time, some policemen of Lucknow Commissionerate were seen discounting the plans of the state government.

In fact, Vineet Singh, a resident of Indiranagar C block of the capital, had reached Barabirwa intersection of Manaknagar police station area on Monday night to catch a bus to Delhi. Meanwhile, Vineet was returning after getting drinking water from a shop, when some policemen were seen brutally beating up a car driver. As a conscious citizen, when Vineet opposed the police brutality, the policemen left the car driver and started beating the young man.

Released after the intervention of the victim’s IPS friend

The policemen started taking the victim Vineet to the police station in an e-rickshaw, against which the youth started protesting on the way. Angered by this, the policemen took the victim to the side of the railway line and started beating him mercilessly and forcibly took him to the police station. The victim youth Vineet prepares for civil services by staying in Delhi.

From the police station itself, the young man somehow called one of his trainee IPS friend and narrated the incident of police brutality. After which the trainee IPS officer in Madhya Pradesh gave information about this incident to the senior police officers posted in Lucknow and told about the victim’s youth being forcibly taken into police custody and sent to jail. As soon as the information was received, the police officers reprimanded the concerned police officers, after reprimanding the officers, the accused policemen left the young man insulted.

Two accused policemen suspended in the case

Please tell that the victim youth is preparing for UPSC by staying in Delhi. He was going to Delhi to prepare for the exam. In this regard, when the victim youth talked about legal action against the policemen, then other policemen including the angry SHO threatened the victim youth and advised him to leave for Delhi. However, Vineet did not go to Delhi and complained about police brutality to the higher officials in Lucknow.

When the Lucknow Commissionerate Police started being criticized on social media and the police headquarters were asked for answers. Seeing the progress of the matter, DCP West Rahul Raj suspended Head Constable Gajendra Singh and Constable Anmol Mishra involved in the incident and asked ACP Kakori to investigate the entire matter. In this case, when he was questioned about the behavior of the police, he did not give any answer.

He says that on the spot, three policemen and a sub-inspector in the police station crossed all limits of vandalism, during this the accused policemen wanted to ruin his life by sending him to jail on charges of smack-ganja. According to Vineet, if this had happened, his dream of qualifying civil services and serving the country would have remained unfulfilled.
