Lucknow News: UP STF busted the gang making fake certificates, 6 including mastermind arrested

Uttar Pradesh’s Special Task Force STF has arrested three more fraudsters of the gang who created birth-death and Covid certificates by creating fake websites by opening 436 centers across the country. Uttar Pradesh’s Special Task Force STF has arrested them from Canal intersection on Saturday. Many important documents were recovered from the accused. Evidence has emerged of involvement of people from many other districts in the gang. On the basis of which STF is investigating. The case has been registered at Tronica City Kotwali, Ghaziabad. UP STF on Friday arrested gang mastermind Sahil and his associate Mau from Ghaziabad. Zubair and Riazuddin were arrested. It was revealed that the accused had created fake websites and opened centers across the country by taking huge amounts of money and giving franchises. From there, Covid vaccination certificates were made along with fake birth and death certificates. Not only this, he also played the game of making fake Aadhaar card. In this, documents of many Bangladeshis were also made.

STF ASP Vishal Vikram Singh said that now Mohammad Arman, resident of Bahraich, Saheem Ansari of Kushinagar and Mohammad Afzal of Jaunpur have been arrested from Nahariya intersection on Saturday. Three laptops, five mobiles, Aadhar card, PAN card, 15 fake documents and cash worth Rs. 1.25 lakh were recovered from the accused. In exchange for all these certificates, these people used to charge Rs 100 to 1000. Till now, evidence of making about seven thousand certificates has been found. This does not include the number of Covid vaccination certificates. With the help of death certificate, many people even took insurance claim. STF has found many such evidences. Which is being verified. During STF interrogation, the accused told that people get Aadhaar card made by making residence certificate on this document. This certificate is made through laptop and desktop. The gang used to connect with people for this work through WhatsApp group and Telegram. Gang member Mohd. Arman told that his uncle Jabir Ansari who is a contractual employee in the Rural Postal Service. He has been given ID for making Aadhaar card by the postal department. Using that ID, his uncle used to prepare fake Aadhaar cards of people through fake birth certificates.

FIR registered against seven including two policemen who robbed businessman

An FIR was registered at Hasanganj police station on Saturday against seven people, including two policemen and two history-sheeters, for kidnapping a Bijnor businessman from Azamgarh, taking him hostage and looting it in Lucknow and demanding ransom. The FIR has been lodged by Hasanganj Inspector himself. This action was taken after investigation by DCP Central. Some people have also been detained by the police. Ishtiaq, a resident of Bijnor, does cloth business. On November 29, he had gone to Azamgarh to sell clothes. People riding a Bolero, pretending to be policemen, picked him up from near the bus stand. Told Ishtiaq that he has been picked up in a theft case. After kidnapping, Ishtiaq was held hostage in a room of Charan Guest located in Nirala Nagar. After beating him, he was robbed of Rs 20,000 and clothes worth Rs 50,000. Had called Ishtiaq’s family and demanded a ransom of Rs 1.20 lakh. Somehow Ishtiaq escaped from their clutches and sought help from an acquaintance. In the case on Saturday, Inspector Anurag Dwivedi posted at Hasanganj police station, Head Constable Yusuf Hussain, dismissed constable Dhirendra Yadav, history-sheeter Dinesh Gupta and Naseem, Shekhar alias Chunnu Kumar Singh and another unknown person were booked under serious sections of extortion, kidnapping, robbery, riot, assault etc. FIR has been registered.
