The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday started cracking down on history-sheeter Vikas Singh, a member of the Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate. The NIA team arrived with the police and confiscated his property. Besides, a board giving information about the seizure has also been put up in front of the seized property. Vikas Singh had purchased Park View Apartment located in Gomti Nagar Extension in 2017. The flat is in the name of Vikas’s wife Anju Singh. In this, earlier a hotel owner Anuj Singh was staying on rent for the last two years. The people living in the apartment told that whenever Vikas Singh used to come there, there were many vehicles in his convoy. The government gunner also lived with him. This is the same Vikas Singh, against whom Abhay Singh, MLA from Gosaiganj, Ayodhya, had given a complaint to the DGP in January 2022, citing threat to his life.

Abhay Singh had alleged that Vikas Singh could call criminals from Bihar, Punjab and Haryana and get him murdered. For this, the shooter of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had come to Lucknow. However, this has not been confirmed yet by any investigating agency. A month later, the NIA team reached Vikas’s house and interrogated him. In January 2022, a teenager resident of Kuttupur in Purakalandar, Ayodhya, associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, was caught by the NIA. While interrogating him, NIA came to know that Vikas Singh had given shelter to the criminals of Lawrence Gang who were involved in the rocket launcher attack in Mohali. In this case, NIA had arrested Vikas Singh from Delhi. Let us tell you that the property seized by NIA from Vikas Singh is related to the patron of the terrorist gang. According to NIA, this property has been seized under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). NIA’s investigation revealed that these properties were acquired from terrorism earnings and were used for hatching terrorist conspiracies and committing serious crimes.
