Lucknow News: An inspector was shot dead in Manas Nagar of Krishnanagar in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The miscreants fled after committing the crime. The police reached the spot, took information from the family members and on the basis of the complaint registered a case. The incident took place around 2.30 am on Sunday night, when the inspector was returning home with his wife and child. His wife and child were sleeping in the back seat of the car. On reaching home, as soon as the inspector got out of the car to open the gate, the attackers already sitting in ambush opened fire on him. By the time his wife woke up, the attackers had fled. The wife saw that the inspector was lying on the ground soaked in blood. He was immediately taken to Lokbandhu Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. This incident is discussed in the entire area and there is pressure on Lucknow Police to disclose the matter soon. On the other hand, the wife of the deceased inspector has said that her husband received threats some time ago. Police is also investigating in this direction.
DCP South in Lucknow, Vineet Jaiswal said that at around 2.30 am on Sunday night, information was received on dial 112 that a person named Satish Kumar had been shot outside his house. After which he was taken to Lokbandhu Hospital where doctors declared him dead. Investigation has revealed that the deceased Satish Kumar was posted in the fourth division of Prayagraj PAC. On the complaint of family members, a case has been registered at Krishnanagar police station and the matter is being investigated.
As soon as information about the incident was received, top police officials inspected the incident site and talked to the family members. The forensic team also reached the spot and collected evidence. An FIR has been registered on the basis of the complaint of the family members. A total of five teams have been formed to uncover the incident. Along with this, crime and surveillance teams have also been deployed. Soon the accused will be arrested and the incident will be revealed.
